Juan Silió Gallery presents the group exhibition AGUASVIVAS. Impulsos eléctricos curated by Cristina Ojea and Marta Ramos-Yzquierdo that brings together works by six artists who invite us to imagine journeys and connections where concepts such as time and space are diluted, to reflect on the construction and control of narratives. Jumps in time and parallel stories that modify the foundations on which to build- starting from an apparently lacking logic, visual and word games- infinite possibilities of relationships and representations both personal and social.

“The stinging whiplash of a jellyfish can be felt as an electric shock; this impulse could also be identified as the one experienced at the moment of a jump, when we lose control of the coordinates in which we place ourselves when traveling in space and time. Without a direction, without a determined sense and proposing new connections that can take us from the jungles of Brazil to the pools of Pompeii, from the stellar space to the seabed, from the myths of the vestal virgins to the demystification of the language of love. Or walking and yet always stay at Dr. Fourquet number 20 “.
