Antonio Mesones (Torrelavega, Cantabria, 1965) studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country and later travelled, through a series of grants, to cities such as Lisbon, Amsterdam and Berlin, where he has established his residence.
His work investigates the behaviour of light and colour and the relationship between space and form. He has had solo exhibitions in galleries such as The grass is greener, (Leipzig, Germany), GE Galería (Monterrey, Mexico), Galería Juan Silió (Santander), Galería Maior (Mallorca), Invaliden 1 Galerie (Berlin), Galería Pilar Serra (Madrid), Daniel Cuevas (Madrid). His work can be found in collections such as the Marcelino Botín Foundation, Coca Cola Foundation, CAM Collection, CAC Collection, Pilar Citoler Collection, Kells Collection and Los Bragales Collection.
